Retired after four decades' prizewinning (runner-up for a Pulitzer and a White House fellowship; Alicia Patterson Fellow in Cambodia and Romania, a dozen lesser citations) print and broadcast journalism (through the chairs to editor, The Hartford Times; a decade as senior correspondent, WFSB-TV3, final decade as op-ed political columnist, The Hartford Courant) Don Noel received his MFA in Creative Writing from Fairfield University in 2013.
His work has so far been chosen for publication by Calliope, Shark Reef, Drunk Monkeys, The Tau, Indian River Review, Midnight Circus, Oracle, Clare Literary Magazine and The Raven's Perch and proudly, Caravel!
